Lunch at a mountain hut
A day on the farm: a genuine mountain experience, to be enjoyed in the great outdoors
Midweek, we’re offering you an experience that captures the true essence of the mountains: a day out in the countryside at our farmstead, amidst woods and meadows, with views stretching out to the grandeur of the Pale di San Martino.
A simple, beautiful day, filled with walking, fresh air and traditional Primiero cuisine to enjoy al fresco.
A walk for everyone
After the buffet breakfast, we’re ready for a leisurely walk lasting a couple of hours: a route surrounded by greenery, through woods and campigoli (pastures), with views that lift your spirits from the very first step.
Just a stone’s throw from the Hotel Panorama, in fact, lies the easy forest track that crosses the Colfosco woods, passes by Malga Crel and leads to our destination: Dismoni, a little green paradise.
A day at the mountain hut
At the farm, we share the best of being together: laughter, nature, the scent of wood, and that rare feeling of truly being “on holiday”.
Some relax in the sun, others chat over a glass of fine wine… and others enjoy themselves freely, playing games and running through the meadows. At the end of the day, we return to the hotel happier and “closer friends”.
A proper mountain lunch
Here, you’ll find the authentic flavours of Primiero, enhanced by tradition and the joy of dining al fresco.
We start with a refreshing aperitif featuring local cured meats and cheeses, including the award-winning “Nostrano di Primiero”.
Then comes the star of the show: polenta freshly prepared in a cauldron, served with genuine Tosèla (a typical fresh curd cooked on the grill or in butter), local sausages and grilled meat.
How to get to the farm
Our destination is Dismoni: you can reach it by following the planned walking route, but the hotel car is available for those who wish to spend the day in good company without having to walk the entire route.
Alternatively, you can also make your own way there by car (a stretch of country road and a stretch of tarmac mountain road).
If you love authentic experiences, this is one you simply must try at least once.
Book directly: we’d be happy to tell you when it takes place and how to take part.
