Ski Area

The nearest ski area to the Hotel Panorama is located within the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park, guaranteeing a setting of exceptional natural beauty: 60 kilometres of slopes between 1,400 and 2,400 metres, stretching from San Martino di Castrozza to Passo Rolle, with slopes of all levels of difficulty and everything within easy reach, from the car park to the ski instructors, equipment hire and refreshment points.
The 22 ski lifts are all powered by 100% green energy, reflecting a commitment to environmental sustainability.
Alpe Tognola and the Ces-Valcigolera area are linked by the “Carosello delle Malghe”, whilst at Colverde you can even ski at night.
Prà Nasse

Just a stone’s throw away is Nasse Park: a ski school with two ski lifts ideal for learning to ski, a beginners’ area with a magic carpet, a toboggan and bobsleigh run, and a snow-tubing run for sliding down on rubber rings.
Whilst the little ones follow their instructor, parents can soak up the sun and have a natter on the inviting terrace of the café.
And why not try a skislit? It’s a special sledge, the only one of its kind in Italy, which is pulled up the slope by the ski lift, allowing you to enjoy a fun-filled descent down the run.
Craspe

Cross-country skiing
(distance 200 metres)
The San Martino di Castrozza cross-country skiing centre is right next to Hotel Panorama and can be reached on foot.
It offers ski, boot and pole hire. The track, which starts from the Sports Hall, is 1 km long and is suitable even for beginners.
Part of it lies within the Prà delle Nasse biotope, an area of great natural beauty.
If you’d like to explore other slopes, we recommend trying those at Passo Rolle, Calaita next to the frozen lake, Passo Cereda for advanced Nordic skiers, and finally the Ski Arena Le Peze in Imèr.
